She's sublime like everclearA Poem by Ed RectorShe’s sublime like the aftermath of Everclear Setting of fireworks in my mind Making everything chaotic seem clear, She came to me through chills up my spine. Gazing at the stars it seems so real That I could find this way I feel. Where is cupid so I can ask To pounce upon this lovely lass Like an Irish man does a flask Caressing your bountiful a*s I can’t wait to see what’s in store. She leaves me wanting more. She’s the one that I adore And my heartbeats to her sway And this time, to me, It’s more Than me just learning to stay And I pray that I can provide Some rhymes that increase her pride. We swing to our steps all day And we catch the others laughter Cause I’m mystified by her sway And I just want to say from hereafter Your pain and fear I’ll get rid of By showing my kindness and love. She pushes me to the other side. Towards the yin to my yang And I’m willing to abide As we accept the other and bang Cause pressure builds and I’ll fill This beautiful women that’s so chill. But the fire in her eyes ignite My soul shall surely burn But with it comes the crazy nights In which it is my turn To partake in her world I write as it does unfurl. © 2012 Ed Rector
