the shoe fits snugly

the shoe fits snugly

A Poem by Ed Rector

in an abruptly hallow cast to seize
the pleasures of my freedom
I find a wicked spill of seed
eases the mind of any notions
of past and future cravings

Bring the raw tomatoes
beets, potatoes, and rye
So that all consummation
will be put into a siphon
and we shall live another day.

Feed your brain what it desires
nourishment heals the damaged
So choose any transgressions
in any shape and size
For they will set you free.
