A young lust for sense

A young lust for sense

A Story by Ed Rector
"

“All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know.” ― Ernest Hemingway

"
man has become bewildered with idolizing himself.
All other creatures merely suffice.
the independent spirit is not broken easily
but it will fall to conformity of common practice.

optimists see the world clearly
while pessimists see the world practically.
while the rich easily rise by chance,
Even the poor can achieve some glasses.

mischief and high-jinks are sought in youth
while old age has yet to conquer
wise men aren't wise because of knowledge
but the lack of caring for such things.
