InsomniaA Poem by Edmund S. ObumbaA poem about my struggle without sleep.written at 0326hrs,east african time.
The sky above is navy,
stars up above neatly patterned in a mosaic, the 'big dog' is barking at king 'scorpio' and the stars are racing-shooting across the sky.... the Crickets always seem to be in a contest, cricketing their soles out(if the have any) and the cold dew gently pampers my face, the night air is so fresh, pure and serene, the silence is so loud, you can hear your heartbeat. firefles say silent 'hellows'as they fly by glowing in emerald green, I'm trying to sleep..but my eyes wont let me, there's so much to see at night than in day. © 2012 Edmund S.
