Bottles

Bottles

A Poem by EdFutinski

the bottles were sitting there
like virgins
smiling at me
what ,s***s
you'll betray me
as they?
you f*****g s***s
I'LL DRINK YOU ALL
and you'll be dry and you'll die
ha ha
I'll be laughing,
knowing,

fading.

This is beautiful, simple, elegant and sad. But the sadness is lain into the poem in such a way, that it is not at first glance there.

Fantastic!

This is excellent. It reminds me of Charles Burkowski for some reason. Have you read him? Great job. Encore.
I give this a ten out of ten banana rating (for the monkey lover in all of us!)
