Inconsistent BehaviorA Poem by RequsI hope reading the poem would make the content evidentThe boy in a prison of blank beauty in the sky Awaits execution Amputated legs caused the uselessness The passing of a train A lose of all pain This is what caused hysteria A faltering perfection in their perfect world Saved by the pleading lesbian Inconstant conditional differential A different type of miracle A gay boy stuck within his dream Back to the resting hall Cold, stoned, and a party A party for escape to the white light in the road; their propaganda taunt Sudden sharp right turn and their boat lead us to the chocolate factory moat To a line of purgatory in the deep, in dense fog Watching the other meat carriers line up We realize only misfits are at this stop Waking up finally… We see this inconsistency A trait that is hardly found But we’re proud To have random success Rather than a regular routine of service A subtle execution of unseen common imprisonments Restrictions that others frown upon Is something we value? It’s true Truth finally gazes from the presumed utopian ideology We’ve made it to an inevitable Us on the strand Escape from a last stand A won war for free land A boat to new sand A place for the different For us The inconsistent © 2010 RequsAuthor's Note
