The Real YouA Poem by RequsA bit cliche' but still valid in my opinionBicycling through the sky Everything fine; I feel just alright I feel normal Gliding over the expanses of rural Thinking tonight, I’ll end it with a sight Rainbow kite, star showers of light My display is sense Out of all sorts Out of the ideal life of s**t Which others prefer to snort I’m aimed toward your fortified fort Watch out I’m about to halt all falsified hope Being stunned with anti-believe Still stubborn You wouldn’t let down the wall Thinking your drowning in something savvy Watch out, followers may become stunned into envy Shun your faith for my pleasure in the sky Realizing you live in a preconditioned lie Is a short step to hell Reaching past your height For fireworks in the night, is right Its how you come out of your shell Come home, come home Be in an endless freefall of pleasure Come out and fall into comfort You know its right in your heart You’ve waited long for this moment And all you have left to do is yell Scream Don’t be forced to stall Let this be your final call Be the real you, don’t let yourself trip and then fall Be the real you Be the real you Have fun if that’s all you know how do Be what the voice says you feel The feeling like what splits down your spine after you… Yes it comes out The same surreal Circus clown, lunging to the rafters Gay, proud, and aroused by similar inner duct shafts Skin fiddler Or a pianist playing for happily ever after’s The one you chose to be F**k your alter Physical, conditioned, or self inflicted You are not a follower © 2010 Requs |
