Man-Made Heaven

Man-Made Heaven

A Poem by Requs

In the universe, the empty space is
Home to others
Split to another plane of existence
When we take up space, they call it paranormal
And they slumber for war in your attic stairwell
Metal and soul, an idea for a manmade heaven
Cloning the nervous system
A life for immortality, sustained thought

As a body, our species
Continues the viral, fill, humping space
Seeing a confined spiral without the pill; now hear the wind chimes

To the others that are aware, the war brinks a scare to those
With metal souls whom see through a tare
Tare of light spectrum, zoomed past our atmospheric sphere
Ready to plague, ready to interfere; with the others

As a body, our species
Continues the viral, fill, humping space
Seeing a confined spiral, without the pill
A man-made peril we sought to prevail
Now, here

Smothered in tears
As end draws in near…
A dimensional rip steers
Time back and bizarre
Where disturbance like sound won't hear
Our own cannibalism, our own screams in crazed fear
Us the others, sought to be near…
Spirals, looking down in, seeing a feint spark rush; sear
Listen in for the wind chimes, the beginning bang reappears
