Bleach and Ammonia

Bleach and Ammonia

A Poem by Emma Claire
"

We never would've worked

"
We never would've worked

Your abrasive style
My controlling demeanor
You hit with words

And so do I

You are the sun and I am the moon
Grace everyone with your presence--
--your prince has arrived!

But I'm already a queen

You are closed
I am open
You are beautiful
I am charming
You are arrogant
I am stubborn

We are incompatible

stop crying stop drinking stop yelling stop loving

Our words couldn't fix us
Our lips couldn't distract us
Our money couldn't buy us time
We've passed our deadline...

I wanted this to work.
