Diamond
of sparkling bliss
with eternal lust
Bound too tight
Forged on a broken night

Moment's cry
For undoing time
Unholy
To become
That forsaken one

Memories charred
Emotions scarred
Nothing left now
Except
for a broken vow

The diamond lost its luster
For that, no one can muster
The ring that bound
Two bodies
no longer a compound

Hope no longer content
In one single moment
A shatter so clear
Releasing all that you fear
That sparkling bliss
Was dulled with a kiss

I guess the narrator found out that that final kiss dulled the bliss of the moment and came to the realization it was not worth it at the end...Time for renewal I guess or a new start...Bravo on a good poem...:)................
