Fizziness

Fizziness

A Poem by Echo086

Fizziness.
You make me feel fizziness.
I laugh, but I don't know why
I smile like an idiot.
I talk like someone took my thoughts and pressed fast forward.

You make me lose time.
The world becomes a blur.
Am I smiling at you? I can't tell anymore,
The nerves are directed elsewhere.
They're desperately trying to keep me sane,
To keep me from spilling everything at your feet.

I hope I'm smiling,
I'm only handsome when I smile.
I want you to think I'm handsome.
God, I hope I'm smiling.

You must think I'm insane.
I'm not convinced you're wrong.
Still, I'll smile at you when I pass you,
Giggle uncontrollably at all your jokes.
Caution be damned, I need you.

Hopefully you find insanity endearing.
