Time to Decide

Time to Decide

A Poem by Echo086

Could you love her?
Is she real?
Are you?

The time has come to decide

That spark flashes.
One you've not felt
In a very long time.
You think.

Could you love her?
Is she real?
Are you?

These forces conspire
To shake your resolve
And to question your motives.
Fair skepticism.

Could you love her?
Is she real?
Are you?

But, she smiles.
And you smile back.
It all seems so perfect.
Too perfect?

Could you love her?
Is she real?
Are you?

Those questions repeat
Whenever you see her
And debate asking her to...
Not yet...

Could you love her?
Is she real?
Are you?

Ask those questions,
They keep you sane,
And guard from unwise decisions.
But, careful...

Could you love her?
Is she real?
Are you?

Debate too long
And lose your chance
To chance it with her.
Don't hesitate.

Could you love her?
Is she real?
Are you?

Those questions swirl,
Trip up your heart.
But you know what's real.
Answer them.

Could you love her?
Is she real?
Are you?

Yes.
