Poetry

Poems are the distillation of the soul
Take a person,
Their fears, their loves, their happinesses,
Throw them under a microscope.
Their molecules tell stories, too.

Poems tell those stories.
So much is said in so few lines
So much beauty is found in so few words
So much truth in so little text.

Poems can be dangerous
They portray emotion in 200 proof
They intoxicate.

They must be consumed with care.
They must be written with more.
