Thoughts in the Course of a Day

Thoughts in the Course of a Day

A Poem by Ebits
"

Trying to find the motivation to wake up every morning.

"

So much time left yet to wonder.

So much life through which to blunder.

When it seems I'll break asunder,

how much time 'til I go under?

No escape in line of sight.

Running blindly through the night.

Follow tunnels to the lights.

Silver lining figthing fights

against the demons and their plights.

Fight against the wicked current;

scream in every language fluent.

Empty hands reach toward the sky:

hollowemptylonely cry!

Begging, pleading, shedding tears.

Can't outrun persuing fears.

Searching for a dream to find me;

searching for a dream inside me.

Guiding light still brighter grows,

make my way to what it shows.

Faith and love and hope colliding,

following the silver lining...
