Living

Living

A Poem by Ebits
"

Realizing that there is so much to life...

"
Sometimes I feel I'm on top of the world.
Sometimes I wish I wasn't a girl.
Sometimes I'd like to be better than me,
and see all they ways that others can see.
Sometimes I cry and sometimes I smile.
Sometimes I wish I could just be a child.
Sometimes I think of the people I love.
Sometimes I fight, when push comes to shove.
Sometimes I wake up with no hope at all.
Sometimes I think I'm going to fall.
Sometimes I think I'm the best there can be,
that no one could ever be better than me!
Sometimes I realize I'm only one soul,
that only I can go through with these goals.
Sometimes I realize, "you only live once,"
and do something that makes me feel like a dunce.
Sometimes I spit out a cheesy cliche.
Sometimes I sleep through a whole wasted day.
Sometimes I reach myself out to a friend,
knowing that there is a hand I could lend.
Sometimes I think of the pain of the past,
and know it's unhealthy to put myself last.
Sometimes I wonder, but sometimes I know:
you can't understand which direction to go.
So instead of taking this "living" for granted,
I just do my best with whatever I'm handed.
