Cutting phenomena

Cutting phenomena

A Poem by Eawynd
"

A little poem about the training of the mind.

"

Cutting through our mind-stream.

This flow of habits and tendencies

Cutting right through the mind-stream

So a breach of freedom

Lets her sun to be seen

Cutting right throughout the flow of thoughts .

There’s no ennemies , no enmity.

Then no threatening emotions to flee.

Nothing else to do but apply a love beyond ourselves

Each and every day until we become a compassionate sun.

Clinging no more to the subject object

Making so no difference between ourselves and the world

Scattering away the dualistic claws of good and evil

A brain wide open to the universe

A thunderstorm of peace

Without violence

Because there’s no one

To defend

Nothing to attend.

Is the void light?

Probably your most accessible poem yet. Nikos Kazantzakis claimed that the void was darkness, but nothing to defend or attend sounds very light to me!

Brilliantly crafted, with stunning imagery, language, cadence and rhyming.
