There’s An Evil Wind a-blowin’
The War Winds are a-Roarin’ Hear the fiery-eyed War Hounds hungrily Howl, growl and seductively bay ? Hear the Sacred Prayers a-spinnin’ Beggin’ for New and Better Beginnings While the War Hounds bound out to plunder and play ? Feel the Beasts from Within a-risin’ Feel the Man-Beasts rend and rip all Reason And Common Sense to ruin ? Feel the restless Evil Energies a-stirrin’ Feel those Destructive Impulses and Urges tear All Civility and Humanity away ? See the bloody, Life-less Children Fly-covered mounds of rotting meat Flung out upon smoke filled streets ? See the Mamas and the Papas pitifully screaming Curses to Seen and UnSeen Known and UnKnown Enemies See them frantically rocking and wailing to and fro Clutching their Dead Sons and Daughters Brothers and Sisters close to their Broken Hearts Clinging to their loss and defeat Their Hopeless Travails ? Rasping out tuneless Lulla-byes And UnExpected Good-byes ? Smell that Urge to Kill ? To Murder Civilizations ? Smell the Poisonous Elemental Fusions Exploding in, and fiercely buffeting the putrid air ? Smell the burning conflagrations ? Smell the Fear Sweat and Despair ? Taste the acidic bile a-risin’ In choking Human throats ? Taste the bitterness of Poor Decisions ? Crippling Judgments ? Selfishly Greedy and Ethically weak World Leaders Making the Earth their personal Scapegoats Sin Eaters for their Sins - which became Globally Shared Sins Their Game Board of Planetary Hubris And terrible Cosmically evocative Jokes Sense the Enemies from WithIn And Enemies made WithOut On the Hunt ? Stalking still ? Out for the Kill ? Sense the Gales of Dark Oblivion Of glutting and purging Societal Murders along the way ? Ah, there’s an Evil Wind a-blowin’ The War Winds are a-Roarin’ Hear the fiery-eyed War Hounds hungrily Howl, growl and seductively bay ?
