Last Call

This is the first rhyming poem that I've written in a LONG time. It's very simple but it explains what i'm going through these days

All I want is a chance 

a chance at true romance

but you say it's not meant to be

that you're not the one for me

why aren't we made?

It's okay to be afraid

Just let me in and I promise not to end what we begin

I don't want you to go

but always know, that I love you so

so much that the world spins and stops for you

just take my hand and together we can explore this land

the land that separates us

you know that i must touch the hand that once gave me strength

that same hand that pushes me away

please don't make me leave

I want to create the masterpiece

that I know we can achieve

If I only had a chance

some of the rhyming is a bit off, but I really like this poem!

I cannot help this-if the hand is pushing you away don't you want one that has fingers spread waiting to lovingly intertwine with yours-for unless both parties want it it is a forced masterpiece and that my dear is not a masterpiece
you have shared this in a beautiful way quite lovely to read can feel the need behind the words
