Bombs Fall In Love

Bombs Fall In Love

A Poem by Earl Schumacker
"

Some relationships are hard and wingless and meaningless

"

Bombs Fall In Love

Above the clouds above the noise

Baby bombs are born from planes

Contractions come in waves of pain

Opinions form about the world

About the wars unfolding incognito

Looking up come uninvited guests

Bombs drop on houses, on streets

Wingless, leaving deep impressions

On hearts and souls that crater deep

When things go wrong

Bombs fall in love

They come in the name of God

Some of them called Bob

But without exception they are Bomb

Be careful in the company you keep

And never sleep without protection on
