A Home For Trees

Trees come from black forests in Denmark

In small pink boxes with holes for breathing

They come on swift sails in tiny boats

Deciduous in nature, they cross the ocean

Invade foreign lands for a chance to grow

Baby trees of the genus Feminine are fresh

Friends and family call them plantets

Categorized in the order of Greenery

Without shedding a tear they shed leaves

Vegetation is all they know

Walking is a struggle for reasons unknown

Learning comes slow for plants

Rooted in the ground, hiding from strangers

Bumble bees and birds mock all tree species

It becomes harder to see the forests go

Denmark is a place called home

A starting point before conquering Earth

Introduced species are all over the world and by many means and for varied reasons. I've seen mangroves and coconuts that have broken through while floating the seas to be transplanted elsewhere, all without human thought or aid. Quite amazing should we look further into it. It's quite ingenious to working the lines together with historical footnotes and the achievement of the Danish. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Red Brick Keshner, Thank you for your thoughts. Interesting. Have a great day, Earl
I thought of the splendor of all those planted trees in their new home in about fifty years time. Too far down the line for me to see but I can envisage it. Everyone should plant trees. I certainly have an affinity with them. A belated happy new year Earl. Hope all is good with you. Nice to come across a new post.

Chris
