Gentle comes the army close at hand Marching cold to October’s home Footfalls over tomb stoned graves Etched out in memory with names Souls encapsulated for the ages drop
Flowers grow in red and yellow bright On the green, grass covers Spring deities Trees would love to dance with madness But someone stole their feet
It is the sun that comes to save the day It is the blue of sky and ocean’s eye Once opened to the clarity of life Can only die once you turn out the light
