Open To SuggestionA Poem by Earl SchumackerA love poemOpen To Suggestion
Above the high cliffs which hang over oceans vast The tiny house clings on the mountain like a child's toy Where my dearest sleeps in her depths now warm and cozy Pillowed soft, her head rests on in breaths of calm serenity Tranquility comes with a gentle breeze through open windows That should be closed as winter soon will make a call One day in the distant future I will return to you my love Rolled in on the somber fog at 2:00 am to touch you To hold you tight and kiss your rosy cheeks Then leave as quickly before you are alarmed Never to hold you in my arms again We must remain as friends and spirits to each other Two people who never met but never will forget
