When Women CryA Poem by Earl SchumackerThe horrors of betrayal unfoldWhen women cry the world shatters in silence Ice mirrors reflect horrors unspeakable on themselves Truth hides between the cracks of madness Behind tears, behind broken glass and promises Sadness in their eyes knows failures origin While applying make up a pretty face must smile Being beautiful takes patience and plenty of work Betrayal is not a foreign word to them All men speak it fluently Women keep their feelings bottled up in pride Like mini volcanoes about to erupt at any time Don't turn on the lights You might not like what you see The other side of women Crying out the last drops of blood From a broken heart in misery
