Jesus In The PizzaA Poem by Earl SchumackerFood for thoughtJesus In The Pizza Clearly we see Jesus in the old pizza crust His image carved neatly in wall cracks Concrete thoughts for concrete steps Sidewalk images reflect his purity I could swear I saw Him squinting at me From a grapefruit I squeezed this morning My eyes were so sore I cried Is it by accident that juice hurts Cracks in the mind still need filling Concrete mix for concrete thoughts These are not UFO sightings Everyone knows God Sometimes Mary is there in the potato chips In clouds and even nature Back to the pizza back to the womb I'm still hungry to tell the truth There is always room for food Food for thought and pizza images
