Frog Princess

Frog Princess

A Poem by Elephants & Coyotes

I knew a pixie once
Whose dust
Out-shimmered
The rest.

Who played twilight
Lily-hop, with her
Swamp-life
Loves -

Her nighttime joy things,
Ribbiting
Froggy
Songs.

She skipped and hopped,
From lily to pad,
Skimming on the water,

Game lit by
Giggling fireflies,
Who winked their
Bottoms in her
Favour.
