Come, Along, NowA Poem by Elephants & CoyotesYellow rocks & creaking earth, A tumbleweed of grey gladness. Swirling dryness to my left - Its twin dancing in the distance. There’s no need for your pitiful sideway glance, At my feet trailing after the vastness. Nor your misplanted care, after my curls of hair, Tossed in bouts of ecstatic fullness. Within the dark, I am in the light, Whilst you dance amid thorny weeds. But, should you ever care, To walk this path and share, The abundance is here for the taking. 06.2011
