A Lavender Hall and Mahogany DoorsA Poem by EagergreenOpen the door to speaking your mind and comment
I walk down a lavender hallway
with dark mahogany doors The hall is long and quiet dim lights hang on the walls I try each door unsure of which will open The newest one I opened let me into a forest The trees reach the clouds and the soil is litter with leaves The birds sing songs of nature, art, and self awareness I have been in this room for many months lost in harmony as if it were possible I am lost in the trees and foliage taught by creatures and plants The true power of nature the raw beauty of wood and flesh © 2015 EagergreenAuthor's Note
