Cannibal Earth and Angry Venti

Cannibal Earth and Angry Venti

A Poem by Eagergreen

No clever thing for this one just comment please I'd appreciate it

"
I am laying in the grass
on a tall dark hill
with clouds swirling around
the lightning and thunder
the rain sprinkles down
the water soaks
my shirt making it stick
I stare at the droplets
falling from above
the wind is picking up
the world become darker
as the storm gathers strength
the once green grass and leaves
now look black almost
then it happens the giant
roars ripping into time and space
flashes lightning and rolling thunder
rush to where I lay
the raw chaos
nature cannibalizing itself
I lay here feeling the rain
stab into my skin
hitting like little pebbles
the pure ecstasy I feel
as the Venti barrage Earth
when the storm passes
a soft green hue is left
a promise
that nature holds the power
we are just insects
to be squished when God wishes
the soft spring green is
the twilight of a storm
and it is beautiful

The simplistic/casual wording of the last line sums up the poem perfectly. The descriptions and comparisons are vivid.
