Bitter Medicine

Bitter Medicine

I love going against the grain
I love rebeling for the sake of it
I love doing things out of the norm

I hate not fighting for the good
I hate not trying to change
I hate giving up

Without a little bit of rebel inside
we are simply sheep waiting
to be sheeted or eaten which is worse

Without a little attempt to change
are we no different than a stone?
But even stones change, so you can too

Without a little fraction of a backbone
how can you stand for what is right?
how do you call yourself a person?

Maybe I'm overdone but at least I know
what I feel on an issue I have drive and passion
to see each cause through because medicine is bitter

No fluff and stuff here just simple questions to answer simple truths and sometimes that is a bitter pill to swollow or a better pill to ingest depending on your perspective.
