Crystal Planets

Crystal Planets

A Poem by Eagergreen

The chandelier of
crystals delicately hanging
yet deadly is life

We all hang here
like the old diagrams
of the solar system

Where the sun sits
and the planets hang
from string around it

Every star in our shining
night sky has rocks floating
around it spinning too fast

Those stars with rocks
spin too around a giant
black hole

These black holes move
across space and one day
they'll crash inevitablely

Then we'll all be dead
