Look me in the eyes.

Hit me with your best shot.

Don’t act like you’re better than me,

cuz honey,

you may not like it,

but we are equal.

Every boy,

Every girl,

we are all made equal.

Give me the respect I deserve.

Give me the love,

you give everybody else.

You may think you’re all that.

But when you think,

and compare yourself to the world,

you’re just as insignificant as me.

Everyday I take your crap.

Everyday I take your abuse.

Even though we’re supposed to stand united,

you stand there,

singling me out.

Let’s come to terms,

let’s make peace.

But knowing you,

you’ll walk away and laugh in my face.

But one day...

One day you’ll realize,

you’re no better than me.

And you’ll wish that we made peace.

This reminds me of how I used to feel about people in school who made fun of me. But then I just started hating everyone.
