I Doubt

I Doubt

A Poem by E.K.Donaldson

I doubt that I shall ever know

just how much your love might show

or just how luscious your lips might be

or just how much you see

or just how soft your hair can feel

or just how well you cook a meal

or just how warm your skin might be

or oh how tender your touch must be!

I doubt that I shall ever know that thing.

I doubt that I could know if you sing.

If you do, then please do as you would.

Sing for me those sweet words if you could.

For I doubt that you love me.

So, show me and tell me.

If you don't, then do me the favor

and end this with that nasty flavor.

Still, I doubt that you don't love me.

Still, I doubt that you love me.

About
I love writing all sorts of things. I am told that I am best at poetry. I am busy though, so I can't post much. I am also on Wattpad. However, most of the work I post here is there also. more..
