Another World

This poem is about discovering something that has always been there.

You start to drift, float away,

Boundless, yet you don't go astray

higher and higher, you float away,

surroundings blur by with nothing to say

You start to descend into a new world,

something different, something new

you have arrived to another world where things are not what they seem

With new surprises around every bend,

seem less possibilities with no end

Open your mind, your brain, you heart,

this is the beginning, the start of the start

as you explore this wondrous new world,

you have realized that this is your world.

This is a nice poem, with good rhyme that doesn't sound overly forced, like it was slapped on for the sake of rhyming. In some parts of it, it sounded rather awkward, like you couldn't really get your tongue around it and it interrupts the rhythm of the poem.

Otherwise, it was fantastic. Especially loved the last line, "You have realized this is your world." It was a pleasure to read. ;P
