Courage

Permanent battle scars caged
Regarding my actions, they take center stage
When others witness my hidden rage

My actions dictate my life
As I fight, me against the knife
See if my dreams can survive

Will I learn to trust, can a man be faithful and just
Is my prince waiting for me someday
More importantly, will I have the courage to say
The words that make life ok
