DenialA Poem by EdwardJust a thought on materialism.DENIAL We walked along what seemed like miles. Concrete palace, marble and tile. Packed shelves and bursting aisles. Bright eyes and fake smiles. High cost, new styles. You need it all. Just stay a while. Outside the walls, the garbage piles. Poor man begs for hungry child. Blood shot eyes and broken smile. See his face and change the dial. You need it all. Spiritual denial. © 2012 EdwardAuthor's Note
