Hope of LossA Poem by EDRCThis poem was written by: Ryan.Look at what is left When everything's broken, When everything has fallen. Look at what is still there When everything's gone, When everything's destroyed. The damage-- By appearance, Saddens the eyes. The pain-- Tears fall, It is unbearable. The loss-- It is unimaginable, never to be replaced. In this time of loss, This time of need, You will learn what means the most. You will find That there is one thing That will always be there. That one thing It will be all you need To keep going. Count your blessings, remember what you have, and treasure it. This poem is dedicated to those poor people in southern Indiana who lost their homes in an EF-4 Tornado. If you haven't realized by now, Erica and I are from southern Indiana, and this is our home. Our community has been severely damaged by this catastrophe... and things will never go back to how they once were. Erica and I are fortunate enough to have survived this event, and we are blessed enough to still have each other, our families, and our friends. Below are some images of this catastrophe that will hopefully give you an understanding as to why we are so fortunate. I took every one of these photos myself. I wish all of the southern Indiana communities affected by this storm the best of luck, and I will be assisting in any way I can.
