To Dreamland Forevermore

To Dreamland Forevermore

Which way do I go? What path takes me home?
I feel so lost, left here to roam.
These endless woods as its creatures, beasts of Weir.
Poke and prod me here and there.
I seem so torn
Beat up and worn
Tossed to this endless
Sea of forlorn.
This perpetual forest of Weir
Has me running in circles. A glare
From the brush, and I'm off once more
Away to find that distant shore.
I must get home, no matter the climb.
Back to space, once more within time.
But no! A wall of stone now blocks my way
As the creatures advance, the beasts, the Fae.
The sky of flame rains down from its perch
And in every crevice of this land does it search
For the lone ray of hope to burn it away
After which here I'll be forced to stay.
In this misty, mid-region of Weir.
Futile, although it be, I prepare
To climb away from seas with no shore
As under my feet a great chasm tore.
Now endlessly I'm left to tumble.
Wordlessly my lifelines crumble
As the mountains in to the seas.
Seas with which no Sand to freeze
From Titan forests to shore-less waters
Mountains chasms, hares and hatters
Shall I flee, run door to door.
Stuck in Dreamland forevermore.
