Mirror

Mirror, Mirror on the wall
How does one like you weave tales so tall?
Outer beauty you show, 'tis true.
But inner beauty seems lost to you.

We look in you and become vain
Crushing a light that few can regain.
So mirror of lies, I cast you away
To plague my soul another day.

wonderful write. very simple and straight foreword; reads like a fairy tale but i think that adds the to beauty and the style of this poem! it's something so capricious and carefree and at the same time such a weighty topic! great write!
