Faded Magic

Faded Magic

A Poem by -inactive now-
"

A short little something that can be interpreted as being about traditions that don't hold the same kind of gleeful magic that they once did..

"

A pretty dress left for dust and mildew
in a closet of abandoned dreams
Retrieved and revived to be worn again
only once toward the end of every year
Over magic faded and lost with the succession of adult years
the heart sheds many wistful tears

I really liked this! No, I loved it.
it definitely showed the wear of passing years, and wishes, I'm just basing this off what I got from it, but wishes of returning? or things left behind? I'm not sure, but it was an awesome, simply short, but has a lot of meaning behind it. =)

I really enjoyed the tenderness of this poem. Simplicity breathes fragrant upon the nastslgia of the reader's own experiences.

Thank you for reading it
It feels as if the magic of innocence and our childish beliefs that were soon gone due to knowledge fed upon us. How I missed my childhood years, when I still believed that the world is a happy place and magic is anywhere! Such a nostalgic piece of Literature! So nice! :)

Never go back, 'tis true, 'tis true; it's never the same and it is best to let memories remain.

I really like this.
