Acceptance

Acceptance

A Poem by Claire
"

The fifth and final poem in the series Grief

"
Hello again my darling dear,
I miss you as before,
But something has changed within me here,
I miss you even more.
It’s not the bad kind of missing
Where it eats you up inside.
No, it’s the kind of missing
Where I miss your simple smile.
I miss your bright sunshine,
I miss your cloudy skies,
I miss your late night dancing,
And the fire in your eyes.
But within all that missing
I’m going to be okay,
Because the simple fact that I’ve been missing is
I’ll see you again someday.
