Depression

Depression

A Poem by Claire
"

Poem four in the series grief

"
I feel so alone now,
There is no light to be found.
I cannot open up my eyes,
I breathe, and in breathing, I drown.
I don’t walk outside anymore
The sunshine smells like you.
I hear your footsteps at the door,
But I know it Isn’t true.
I don’t live in this shell of a house,
I kind of just reside,
I’m the ghost of my past
And in your past I abide.
