Stars

I love stars, their shape, the look of them in the sky twilight through morning. This was only fitting for me to write.

Just to sit here under this canopy
Bliss
To see them twinkling down at me
Happiness
The need to see them
Interminable
My feeling of completion
Peace
I could sit out here for all time
Eternity
I know they will never leave
Perpetual
They will always be here day or night
Continuous
I know I can depend on them
Friends
They can never speak to me
Listen
I don't want them to speak to me
Shh
All I want them to do is listen
Ears
They in turn will teach me to listen
Heart
I will find my true self
Confidence
All from my friends

I wrote this over 10 years ago when I was 16. I was big into writing my own poems back then. I wrote this one in my own form because I wanted to write something different.
