Lost

Lost

A Story by Elle Alley

There’s always beauty on get lost. I think is because not knowing the destination, gives some kind of freedom to choose. But is always hard to decide what to do with that freedom.

I’m scared of that freedom like I’m afraid of making decisions.

I can say that I’m beautifully lost, probably, I’m gonna be lost forever, but I’m going to keep that freedom, I’m going to choose my path.

There’s always beauty on get lost, like there’s always freedom, like there’s always a way.

Hi Elle, I felt like I could really relate to this. I'm halfway through my twenties with one year of college left and this is exactly how I feel: lost. But I know in the end, I will find the right road on which I will travel and have my life and have my success. It takes time. What I really liked here was the beauty applied to something that often feels so ambiguous. It's a great reminder that there is beauty in the unknown and we shouldn't be upset or afraid of it, and nor do we have to accept it, but we should take it and embrace it. Ambiguity is a hard thing with which to live. But that is how it is. That is life. Thanks for the lovely read.

I can feel your soul longing for this freedom, Elle, this existence of being lost, wandering down the path of your choosing. May you always find this kind of joy in every step down every path. xo

Very thought provoking. I like thought of being lost as having many options, so much opportunity. Very nice.

Besting lost is one of the most beautiful things in the world. It allows limitless adventures. You get to meet the most awesome and fantastic people along the way. The most random and peculiar experiences happen. I couldn't agree with you more. Being lost has led me to some of the most memorable experiences in my life.

I love the fact that you started positive, then became negative( I’m scared of that freedom like I’m afraid of making decisions) and then again returned to being positive at the end... :)

Great write ! Keep writing more :)
