She's Perfect

A poem I wrote for a girl. She was so incredible, but she was dying on the inside. I felt I was the only one who noticed it.

Smile through pouring tears.

Cry when you look in the mirror.

I still don’t get why you do it.

You are so beautiful so quit.

You always say you are fine when you want to cry.

You always say you are great when you want to die.

I will be there when you need someone.

I will hold you when you say that your life is done.

You can have my shoulder when you need to rest.

I will do anything for you because you are the best.

You always laugh when you hold a broken heart.

You always walk away when you get off to the wrong start.

All of these things make you though.

What you would be like without them I just don’t know.

For you, there is no defect.

I think you are amazing; you are perfect

Strange, but some of the people I've met that have the most going for them somehow feel empty. It seems the case here as well. Very insightful, great pace and flow to the whole thing. Reaching out to someone who needs it is noble. Great write.

Its funny how people are like that, all smiles to the world and dying inside. And often they have little to worry of... that is the rel tragedy. You see so many sick, or with sick fanily... and they keep going, they keep strong. Be there for the girl by all means (especilly as shes good looking, you can ofer shag therapy ;-> - I am evil - !!!) but she must pull herself together to move on.

Maybe she trips on others fussing over her...
