DADDY`S DAY

DADDY`S DAY

A Poem by Eagle Cruagh

   DADDY`S DAY

First there was a little girl
Made by Fairies in Fairy City
She climbed on Daddy`s lap
Said Daddy you got whiskers
Remember that when you grow up
Men got `em

Then came a little boy
Made by Cowboys in Kansas City
Climbed on Daddy`s lap
Said Geeezz  I`m a man and jumped down
Good boy
You`re my little man

No inference here about a gender
Just dusting off a father`s love
They got my number from the day
They first came and gave me a shove
Sayin You`re my Dad
Got to admit they hit that button
The one  that makes us Daddy`s  love

A little girl made by fairies and a little boy made by cowboys...that sounds about right.
