The nerdy side of me, that is a science fanatic, just adores Einstein. He's more brilliant and eccentric than what most people give him credit for. I recently discovered this man dedicated hours and hours of research on prophesy. The bible and scripture fascinated this man...who would have guessed! Most of his ideas where too "out there" for an average Joe to comprehend.
And this quote makes me think he was perhaps a "closet" poet. It reads too nicely to be just a random quote! Thanks for sharing...
I saw this speaker on " Stephen Colbert" yesterday speak about creativity. When you put a ton of energy into a problem, and are stuck, you need to take a break and goof off, drink a beer, go for a walk, and the answer often comes to you when you just let go,and let your mind be at rest. I wonder if Einstein's answers to his theories came at such times, like just driving down a road, like the one in this picture.
This reminds me of the Thomas Edison story of how many times his lightbulb experiments failed......persistence is the factor between success and failure.
