WHO LOVES YA ?

 

Rant on scurrilous, indecent, coarse

and vulgar charges made on W/C.

 

Don`t get excited, I am not going to

tell anybody`s secrets.  I almost always

forget your secrets as soon as you

tell me anyway.

 

Consider this, however. Any person,

who may simply be masquerading as

a human being can say anything on

the internet, more speciically Writers

Cafe.

These persons can blacken your name,

attack you, say untrue, terrible things

about you and they do.  I have recently

been subjected to this.

 

It is dreamed up by someone who wants

to blacken your name, another back

stabbing sleaze will hear it, read it , or

listen to the scum bag, then repeat the

untrue libelous statements, sometimes

adding something they think is juicy.

 

What can you do ?   Practically speaking

not much.  Usually you know very little

about the writer.  Usually they are not a

friend in the first place.  I know the one

who started the rumors about me and she

just came out of the woodwork.  I rebuked

her, refused to be involved with her and

she set about trying to get even.  A couple

of others picked it up and attempted to

foulmouth me.

What I suggest--- If you refer to one of these

people, just say something nice about them.

Be pleasant.  They are unable to tolerate

decency , so saying something decent  in

response to their coarse language will just

intimidate them.

There are people (if you want to call them that), who's sole purpose in life is to destroy you. Why? Well, I am sure there would be any myriad of excuses for that. When it comes down to it, they are just abusers. If anyone has any lies to spread about you, well, consider the source, and don't let them achieve their goals of ruining your sense of self. That is what abusers thrive on. They say birds of a feather flock together..so if they want to gossip with eachother in their nest, let them. I prefer to fly free.

I just couldn't help but smiling at the end of this, because you are so right, I have had a lot of people talk bad on me and I can't help it but to be nice in return. ignorance against ignorance solves nothing. Well said!!

Thank you for speaking the unfortunate, but truth of those hung up on the negative, projecting that to anyone that considers them a threat. You know I had a past of cruel murmurings, character attacks.
As you state: send light, joy, and peace to them. They will leave as darkness cannot abide in light! This seems to be a world that treats others in a way they would never allow for themselves. Wonderful write Eagle! Keep soaring ever Higher ~ :-)

Your words ring of truth, and hold sound advice for all of us! I have not personally heard any bad rumors of anyone here on Writer's Cafe, but certainly have been the subject of it on another forum from those who were intent on bringing me down...well, I just moved on and left them to continue to rattle on about what and why, and when when they chose to do so.

I thank you for being honest about what does happen, as well as what shall surely continue to happen, and agree with you in that we should say only that which is decent about another!

My belief is to live by The Golden Rule.....show kindness, compassion and love to everyone, and not be their judge. If we can't say something nice about another, we should just remain silent. Life is just too short to become caught up in the pettiness of it!

Good advice. Be careful what you post on the Interne...people have an uncanny way of getting into your private files and being destructive. I think you should expand on what you've written. Turn it into a story, maybe.

We've all been there...had a little trouble myself a few months back. Brush it off...it's high school. If you don't let it bother you..they will find someone else to pick on.
