SONG ON A NAVY BUS

SONG ON A NAVY BUS

A Poem by Eagle Cruagh

SONG ON A NAVY BUS

I came from California to see a pretty gal
When I got to Tampa she already had a pal

I started out for Tennessee
A little gal there wanted me
She had two kids and wanted three
Number four was not to be

When I got to San Antone
Decided I did`nt want to live alone
So off to Minneapolis to see what I could see
I started up a dollar tree

I knew Anne in old Spokane
And love was gonna save me
`Til I met her old man name of Stan
Because of them I left right then
Bound for Sacramento

Seats on the left sing alto
