THE END

THE END

A Story by Eagle Cruagh

THE END

Play the fife lowly
Beat the drum drum drum
Walk slowly
This procession will go on

Walk slow
This is not for show
Play the fife slowly
For this is his last song

All stop here
This is the final resting place
This was a great romance
Now it is just a song

Your sorrow bleeds out in this piece.
I can sense you savoring the life of the romance as you walk slowly, the drum beats slowly, and the fife plays lowly.
You convey a sense of loss by saying, "now it is just a song,"
However, songs have a way of evoking life within us--perhaps all is not lost.
