JUST AN OLD LINE SHACK (2)

Just an old line shack

 

Tired of watch`n bobcats run through

the trees.  Tired of count`n the bees

knees, my cousin and I turned to other

things to occupy our time.

 

It is not easy spend`n your time when

you live in an old line shack and your

cousin is the same age and you are

both a little retarded.

 

So, I walk out of the house and see Cuz

hang`n by his hands.  Yup, that`s right

he was just hang`n there, hang`n on to

air.

Now, I never told this to a live`n sole

before so I`m swear` n you to secrecy

right now.  Don`t you dare tell anybody

what i told you, cause if you do they will

have us put away as mental cases.

 

You see, Cuz was hang`n there, his feet

about six inches off the ground.

I sez what you do`n Cus and he just settled

to the ground and kind of flexed his muscles

like he had just been hold`n a great weight.

 

My cousin then proceeded to explain to me

that one time he was just fool` n around and

he discovered what they call a nd he could`nt

remember the name of what they call it, but

he was trying to flap his wings like a bird and

it happened.

What happened was he just tried to force his

body off the ground and it happened.

 

We sat down on the ground and thought about

this for a while , then I tried it.  Damned if it

didn`t work.  It did work.  I was able to pull

myself about six inches off the ground and that

was it.

 

I know, you`r think`n my cousin and I should

have been locked up right then and there, but

we wasn`t `cause we didn`t tell anybody.

 

You would like to hear the rest of the story ,

right ?  Well, your plumb out of luck, cause we

were so ashamed at do`n such foolishness

that we never mentioned it to a live`n sole

again.   My cousin is gone now, he fell off.

 

But, there were many strange things took place

at that old line shack.  If you wanta know just

come back to this same place tomorrow.
